A poem that describes a battle that takes place every day in your mind, whether you realize it or not.

To be in love
Or to be in hate
To fly like a dove,
Or to sink into the nasty hands of fate

To believe in me
Or live without trust
To see what your heart sees
Or to bury your face in the dust

To live free
Or to die trying
To fight for you and me
Or to live your whole life lying.

To live to your fullest
Or to not
The blade that killed the beast was the dullest.
And that's why he lays limp to rot.
