I had trouble fixing the car

Maybe you could have helped me

or maybe you could have given me a glass of juice

By the way, I'm a teacher now

Are you proud of me?

Do you want to be a teacher too?

Dad is an engineer

I didn't follow him

Dad's are heroes...even if away...at least for me my Dad is!
This poem is sad...but at that time it also makes me happy to feel the love you're giving through this to the child....I don't know if the child will be pacified or not but it did come from heart...seems like a quick write!
