She bothers her larynx to say something to her friends, my quest for her mellifluous voice ends.
True- I eavesdrop when she speaks, just to listen to her dulcet voice and rejoice.
Her voice is mellow- as that of a cuckoo bird, it invades me and I get enraptured and my mind is captured by thoughts about her.
The profoundness of my love is immense, somehow- owing to diffidence- I cannot divulge, rouse my feelings.
I gather energy and look at her visage and I discover two eyes looking at me. This stirs up glee but my anxiety remains unaltered.
Her lovely gaze continues but I am a bit shy and cannot maintain the eye-contact for long- my sturdy heart is not adequately strong to look into her eyes for anything above three seconds.
I tread on, but my ears remain alert, to avert the mishap of missing out the melodious, mellifluous and mellow voice of my girl- who is as precious as a pearl.
I heed her say, "I have to admit; confess; avow, that guy stole my heart just now."
it is rough to go through this...hearing her voice, being in love with her, and she speaks in romantic tones to someone else...i like the contradictions early on...the cuckoo bird part...mellow yet grating because her words aren't for me...and i really like "she bothers her larynx" great image there...
and the alliteration of "mishap of missing out"

Thank you very much, sir for your deep and detailed review.
It's fascinating how love can take over the strongest hearts, and no matter how strong in will we are, love can break us all. A truly powerful and beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing it and keep on writing.
