~*~Kiss Me~*~

The kind of kiss I've always wanted. ~smile~ This is part of a story I've been working on, I'm hoping to post it some time in the coming couple of weeks. Until then... let it just be a kiss.

"Kiss me."  

 

It was a volley of whispers, of promises and golden tomorrows.

 

"Kiss me."

 

It was a plea, a bargain, a begging of childhood dreams wrapped around one heart-wrenching prayer.

 

"Kiss me."

 

It was a keening sound, barely fluttering low in your throat then soaring out past your lips like a banshee's scream.

 

"Kiss me."

 

It was a yearning, a craving, a deep seated desire that had never been filled... always without.

 

"Kiss me."

 

It was a request, a dying heart-stopping request.. and one that I tilted my chin up, closed my eyes and put my soul where my lips were.

 

Empty, yet wanting.

Desiring, yet taking nothing.

Craving, yet holding back.

 

"Please.  Just.  Kiss.  Me."

I love the repeating and each time "Kiss me" means something altogether different. Your descriptions are unique and each says so much. Nice color scheme here. I don't think I could pick a favorite here, I would want them all. Excellent write!
