Gone

Gone

A Poem by ~VertoAtrum~
"

An old lover of mine. Lost. Ended. Gone. Me and him are no more, although a lot of days are spent wishing the opposite.

"
Your face, smile, words like drug trips,
The way that they matched, the curves of our lips,
The smile you shone, those eyes that I loved,
Those pearly blues were my heaven above,
Your hand and my own, the fingers entwined,
The joy in knowing that you were all mine,
Talked on for hours, spilled out our hearts,
But sadly this bond would be shredded apart,
The love that we lost, and now in this time,
Those pearly blues are no longer mine,
I feel the desire I strongly abused,
To look to your eyes and forever peruse,
These urges I have, today and the next,
Looking for you ‘till I break my neck,
One night I hoped that I’d found a chance,
When at the party, I asked you to dance,
I was soon to find, that no matter the day,
You turned a cold shoulder and pushed me away,
I walked away broken, more than before,
Leaving behind my soul on the dance floor,
But there is no use, and sadly I’ve learned,
That once you f**k up, it’s then Karma’s turn

This one hurt to write. But I had to do it.

ME

About
Just a spec of Galaxy dust in a vast world. A wild predator with a heart as soft as silk. A soul deeper than an ocean in a crowd of puddles. Simply, me. more..
