Jaylentine

A Poem by V. P. Trujillo
"

A spot of divination, just maybe.

"

She took off to the rain

Floated down with pink lilies, and

Sank deep within the heart, of

A darkened Scorpio

I picture the death of something old, the passing of an aged perspective, an idea. The scorpion depicts death and transition whereas the lilies depict birth. To me, your poem is a portrayal of renewal. This writing's both intelligent and interesting, it can clearly be understood from several angles as everything.. Now, there are people here who miss your poetry. Share some more of yourself, won't you? :)

but a very powerful free verse...in life we take off, sooner or later we are pummeled with rain, and then we float to wherever the floating leads us in life...the sunshine is always interrupted with the showers that push us along.

This is another kind of review I like to give, to start with
Keywords out of my head, which come to this brilliant write...

Shapeshifter - Shapeshiftress - The Scorpion King -Scarabee - Black - Poison -To poison yourself - Egypt - Fossils - Spider family - Ancient - Mysterious - Zodiacs - Meditation - Change - Dark - Zero - Enemy - Hermaphrodite

I agree tis a puzzle, but if you think with zero feelings, it isn't. For me it shows how to transform into something else... with true brainpower, and forces. But also you show that all is connected. Very well done. It is another circle to me...
