Grey Sky Daydream

We see the sky breaking, and we bring it along. She soothes us with song, and endures our travels while our bodies are fixed in place. She turns her gaze to our third being, consults with me, alone, on this growing tree, and to her I say; I can believe in me, I feel it’s soon to be. So belief is freedom, from all of these dreams. I love her inside, leaving me to hide this part of my being. I can feel her right, and I notice my life…Given to me, I turn my attention inward to try and find, these words to churn, and meant to mend this bit of broken courage.

I shall prize her as my last idea, grasping onto a reality of my creating, longing for its place in a practical world. Indeed, I say this all, and I feel my feelings less; though maybe thought is a far too often occurrence in my own space, I still can believe-in and trust my ways. The physical stimulus of her branch of soul, for my own heart, to burst out into a way I have not felt for years, yet never before, this experience. Though…years and years, awaiting what ‘could’ be, singling myself out again, all that is in front of me, looking on by, right through and to a vision of once-upon-a-time. What time is there?

I care not for time, though life is comprised of a span, ever shortening. What to do, why to do it…and where does it all lay eventually? “Well, with a circular course from ground to sky and repeat; all the in-betweens to dream and live,” she says. I imagine it is all worth the struggle, and that hope makes good on its promise. I will create another vision, just to see. The sky beckons to me, halting my dream, and tells me so, with her weeping eyes, greyed heavens and shrouded sun. “Believe in her heart and from two comes the third, that which you share and forever lives on, a heart of its own and although small in growth, never a limit until the time of new beginnings. When this begins anew, you will dawn upon a familiar face, the sky will no longer be grey, and a light will guide you to her once more; forever in fate.”

What a wonderful opening of words to describe in ink, it seems like a daydream existing as a person, a daydream as you see the woman of your dreams, in a shape of mist or smoke above you, you make her female, which I find very beautiful and very creative.

You describe the (day)dream, so intense, that it is difficult to distinguish between what is the dream and what is reality, there is intense power of writing you bring here bro. (It is almost literally the "gray area" or "gray matter" that makes us think / dream ... the mass between two worlds, between two kinds of feelings, between reality and illusion.

It can also mean, there's something in the air .... metaphorically ;) that could make it "grey".

Beautiful aspect I see again, in your writing, the major circle of everything around us, in us and outside of us. Your muse may be the afterlife, where you're with her, but also the long exciting journey, which may already be taking place soon ... I've enjoyed it here, nice work, in all respects double beauty.

Vince, I am covered in chills. "I will prize her as my last idea" This idea could span centuries but yes explore this final frontier. There is much to see.. The day has become new.
