Ocean

Ocean

A Poem by Virellius an Fiach
"

Wrote this a while ago. I rather like the imagery, actually.

"

Ocean

Water flowing slowly, calm
carries boats then sinks them down.
A warm sea breeze for illness balm;
a storm destroys a seaside town.

Can you trust the winding flow?
Aqua, turquoise, indigo.
Many men lie dead beneath her;
can bloodstained water still be pure?

Drown you with her torrent rain;
the swirling ocean takes your name.
Vicious seas that break their chains;
Churning water cannot be tamed.
