personal outing within my room, just before a storm
Previous Version
This is a previous version of Midnight Laugh.
A dose of caffiene, keeps the midnight lamp; awake. The keen sense of venture, gives way to the frailities of night. The shortest winds; brings up scary figures.
The night lived for the silence; not for the crow, which mourns the day. The sparrows contend. The eagles pretend. And the darkness slows time.
Someone laughs. A smirk i heard. The tiny drop, failed by the clouds, bombards into my resting. The silent repose is shaken; and the repitation helps.
An excellent piece with excellent wordplay. To me and this is just an abstract interpretation is that despite the fact that the world is a dark and dim place it is through how we use our perception of it that we give it some sense of meaning. Great work

I love the characterization of night that you create, through the shadows, the birds, and the element of time slowed in the depths of midnight. Your last lines bring such a hope to your tranquil piece. Thanks so much for sharing.
