Robin Hood's Grave is the name given to a monument in Kirklees Park Estate, West Yorkshire, England, near the now-ruined Kirklees Priory. It is alleged to be the burial place of English folk hero Robin Hood.
Not far from where i live .... mind you he was a real hero today he would be buried with honour and an OBE .

I would think a man fitting the time and place existed and supported king Richard against his brother John but personally I wouldn’t believe all you read about his adventures lol

Lindsey, an early Anglo-Saxon kingdom and bishopric, probably coterminous with the modern districts of East Lindsey and West Lindsey, in Lincolnshire. It was an area of early settlement by the Angles and was ruled by its own kings until the late 8th century.
lincoln shire is another county not thart far from Nottinghamshire ...nothing to do with Robin Hood as far as i know
The image of innocence hanging from his fist and dragging on the floor like a cape is a powerful metaphor for the way in which childhood ideals and naivety can be shattered by the harsh realities of adulthood.

Thank you for visiting, I came from a stable, loving home which creates a measure of innocence that is hard to lose. I know that in much of the world, there is no stability, and little love, families that know nothing of innocence, and I feel sorry for them...

The last I heard, he took on a consulting job advising the Sheriff of Nottingham on how to handle police brutality claims.

When I was 9, I was exiled to my Grandmother's house in Winterhaven, Florida. She was a pure Victorian who believed if you were smiling, you were sinning and needed to stop. Now.
That was 1958, and she had no TV, no boy toys, and there were no kids in the neighborhood. She DID have a library, Among her books was Robin Hood. I had seen the Saturday morning live-action series and knew some of what to expect.
What I did not expect was the rabbit hole I fell into. I WAS Robin, Little John knocked ME off the log and into the creek, Marion WAS my woman... and I died when the nun poisoned me. I cried for a week when it was over... I've been a reader ever since and with hundreds more heroes along the way.
I heard that the common thinking these days was that the original "Robin Hode" was a tale made up by cloth merchants to sell their wares and that like everything we are told by cinema, they even got the colour wrong... It was Lincoln grain, not green. Its apperently a reddish!/purple and they must looked so inconspicuous in the forest.
I can find no proof of this, other than the original episode, which can be found on YouTube.
I'm guessing you didn't add red or purple tights to your acts of youthful derring do! 😊
