I Finally Understand

My interpretation of God.

I finally understand why people need a god.
They feel the need to blame there problems on something.
Sayin' "It's gods way of making us stronger."
"it's his way of bringing the good out of us all."

I'd rather have the people that cause the pain, To be blamed,
let them take the weight of your sorrows.
Don't use God as your blaming outlet,
Let those who deserve it deal with the consequences,
Don't let them slide because its a "sin" to put blame on an other.

Humanity is causing the problems,
Not an all knowing being.

Author's Note

To me people use religion to attack eachother and as a blaming mechanism. I don't not understand why we must blame everything on a "God", somethings can't be explained with an "it's gods will" or "god will pull us through". To me it's a false hope and something to blame things on that we can't explain yet, for we are not advanced enough.

Your words are true in this poem. I told my kids. We create our problems and must find our ways to repair them. Don't blame poor God.
