The Devil inside, the Devil you know

The Devil inside, the Devil you know

A Poem by Deadline Jeffrey

They call me Lucifer,
A fallen angel of God,
Sent from the heavens
To run the pits of Hell
You see me wherever you look
Whether in the news or in the street
In the nosy neighbors or in the saint
For no one is without sin
they say its all my fault
But it is not so
The real devil is inside each and every one of you
That is the devil you know
A scapegoat to be blamed
For your misfortune and misdeeds
But free will means
You make those decisions
So who is worse?
The murderer, or the "victim" who stole his child from him.
You point your fingers from high on your towers,
But a little bit of hellfire,
And your precious tower comes down.
