Beautiful Death

Beautiful Death

A Poem by WaronIdiocy

Death came a rapping,
A rap tap tapping
On my door today
In an unexpected way.
There was no reaper grim
Or starving man so thin,
No monster, dragon or beast,
No deadly fangs or gnashing teeth.
My death is a girl so fair
With long, dark, nut brown hair.
Misery found in beautiful eyes
And a smile born of so many lies.
Her love for me has long been gone.
Will it return ‘fore my soul moves on?
