Summer and Winter With You

(The Colors of the Heart)

Summer days may slip away,

and winter may last forever,

but in the brilliant Jack Frost paintings

I can always find images of you.

There is no cold that can touch my heart,

nor darkness fall upon it.

For I am melted by your touch

and I am warmed by the light of your love

no matter whether the sky above

is winter’s steely grey…

or summer’s brilliant blue.

A beautiful poem for your wife. When we are far away from our woman and family. We miss the simple things. We need memories and a lot of letters. A outstanding poem. The description was amazing.
