Thinking

Thinking

A Poem by Enigma

I went on a walk and started to think,
What was I looking for?
But I didn't really know.
I watched the water rush,
the flowers bloom. Even
the birds started to sing.
I continued my journey and cried.
I cried for everything I'd done.
I cried for everything I hadn't done.
I sat and watched the sky,
shivering from the heat.
As I thought and thought.
88 Keys is what came to mind.
I loved them all.
Each sound,
The texture and the color.
I was happy at that moment,
Knowing nothing could take that moment away.
I sat and smiled, watching the clouds,
As I thought.

That is beautiful. Insight on life itself came through clear and true, in this poem. Fantastic job!
