His world

His world

A Poem by Wheresware

Cry but don't let them see
Be the strong one they need you to be
Carry the weight of the world on your back
You better not fall of track

The world doesn't care about you
Most people are here to make you feel blue
It's sad to see a man having to hide
He has to hide the lack of love that's inside

The core is eating him from the inside out
You see his heart is enduring a drought
But the world expects him to be fine
The world expects him to walk the line

He lives in a world where no one cares
The only thing they know are their affairs
This young man is struggling to stay sane
In this never ending barrage of rain

All he does is be fair
All he ever does is care
No one ever notices him
In the end it will be dim

I honestly think this is the best thing I read all day! It's as if I am stepping into the mind of the individual portrayed.
