Evening

Evening

A Poem by Peaches

The stars twinkle in the heavens
The moon silently stands by
Watching the world
And casting it's light
On to a world bathed
In irridecent blues

In a quiet moment
I stop and stare at the moon
Amused he stares back
As we sit there in silence
Two friends watching another night
As it slowly and quietly creeps by
