Going Through the Motion

Going Through the Motion

A Poem by Time's The Bond

Day giving way
Side to side it sways with such freedom
Moving me left to right phrase me in
Of dismay
 That ray of light
Which they say appears

These electric eyes won't cry
Or shall they ruin what I hold
I'm not ready to fold back down
Nor shall they turn a blind eye
 It hurts
Terribly
Everyday

This mystery play what is this challenge?
Eyes won't cry and its building
It's swelling
En electric ray will shine not
And I cannot pull

Help me
So reckless
Senseless
 Defenseless
 Powerless

To runaway
Today, run alongside the freeway
Of some foreign country alone

Because Promises are meant to be broken
Endless

 I am never ashamed
To break promises

Every person
Darkness follows

With every rose there lives
A treacherous thorn
So leave me alone
Wish not to call me a rose

May say I'll pose as one
Letting my bitterness hide
As well as my anger
Little by little
I just need them to stop being waves
Crashing in
 Vastly
 Quickly

I am being stabbed
With life's sword
So I can't die
I can just feel the pain

It's fraught with frustration and a need for peace. Nice read.

What you see is me, but what you don't see is also me. I surprise people. *Hand up*... Nothing happened to me, I just usually don't show the side you saw. ALSO little note: My haiku (I only have .. more..
