Innocence

Innocence

A Poem by Time's The Bond

It snows
Roses have kept their color
Cold and deep in ice
Though the white snow glows with bitterness
I feel strangely warm

I've been tricked
And
I've been pricked
By its beauty

My blood flows
Like the snow is falling
As it stains

Stains the cold snow
The rose's thorn has my blood
My skin blisters

Fallen timber
From the storm before
Turns to a beauty
Even though it is lifeless
Now it has my blood and foot mark

Beauty before disaster
Beauty before pain
Pain before beauty
Disaster before beauty
 Think it be innocence
Let it be and treat it life of my blood
It only accepts the given
