This is My Sound

 “Hush”

The air softly said

To my rushed breath

 

“Shh, be calm”

The ground whispered

Sounding my steps

 

“Shh, be still”

The water below scolded

As the willow swayed

 

Lightness felt

Blinding brightness

Ears mute

 

I wasn’t thinking anything

I wasn’t feeling anything

Until I thought

What is this sound beyond my thoughts?

 

“This is my sound”

Bound to the universe

It is so quiet I cannot hear myself think

“Sink with me would you?”

Words rather feelings than soung
