I Was Cold

I Was Cold

A Poem by Time's The Bond

I Was Cold (32)

Written 2-5-12

By: Emily Lui

Drove you away

Into the burning stove

I hurt you

So cold

You couldn't confide

You cried tears

Died inside

Air grows dark

Not a spark

My own family

I cast away

Hard and cold

Like a stone

I was alone

You changed

A stranger

Hurtful words

Display on face

I turned cold

Our past erased

You felt abase

Not a trace of care

On my bare

Cold hands

River (33)

Written: 2-7-12

By: Emily Lui

The river just flows

I shiver from the sound

Mind you

Explain to me

How you drown my troubles

Always around

It’s a mystery

Yet to be discovered

A mystery

What’s your history?

 No fret

 Set forward

Thanks for the help

Be a giver

Deliver help to others

Precious River

Precious Treacherous

River
