No Reason

No Reason

A Poem by Time's The Bond

Just being here

Feeling power

and pain

I have a life, air

And a heart

Yet there lies no reason

It's tough

 People are cowering over me

I feel like crumbling

There is no way to shake it all off

It's enough to respire

Even if it ain't fresh

I can adjust to anything

It is all alright

And it is just enough

For a child like me

I have a knife

To cut ties I don't need

I have air

So I can breathe

I have a heart

So I can feel emotions

I have a life

Even when there lies no reason

I'll keep it

I am looking for something

I don't know what

I'll know

When I find it

I have a destiny

I don't know where

But I'll know when I get there

Not bad, but it does come across as a little fragmented and pointlessly artsy in that manner. I'd suggest you use longer lines with fuller thoughts, since the way you break up the lines in this piece doesn't suggest any greater meaning or thought behind it. As for the content, it's interesting and it definitely gives off a sort of yearning feeling, which I think is what you were going for, but its broken-up nature really distracts from that.
