Jealousy and Sorrow

Jealousy and Sorrow

A Poem by Wild Thunder

Your a perfect creation
Was ever so favored by God
And you threw it all away
Just as I have over 1000 times

So why did he pick you
Jealousy sets in
I want to be his perfect angel
To protect and hold his word true

Now I shed a tear for you
Lost your grace
Striped of great

Jesus
Why the hell would you die for me
You should not have done that for me
And Jealousy sets in
What an honor to die for God
You were so lucky
Because you set me free

It should have been me
I wanted to die for you
To take your place on that cross
Or at least die next to you

God my father
You are my artist
You created all things
Up so high
Why should you care
You can do anything

And I must truly confess
I have a growing sin
I am full of Jealousy and love

I want to be just like you
But I couldn't be!
Lord of grace I wish to shield you
In my arms
So you will never see pain

I am really me
Full of Jealousy
Prideful of his art
Filled with a sorrow for life

I respect you for writing about a touchy topic like this. And you're not nearly as bad as you might think. :P You may want to start the poem with "You're" though.

I think many of us do. I can't begin to explain how this makes me feel, except, that
I relate, all, I know is when I see that cross, I can visualize the darkness and daylight at once as he ascends to the heavens, mishel
