Thunderstorm

Thunderstorm

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

A face alone, faces alone..

"

As I sit here alone in this silence

deep inside, something grabs hold of my soul

thinking to try and escape the pain

of the lies told, by the people we hate

It seems like a long path to start

forgiveness is something I can’t take

tears so cold run down this lonely heart

miles yet ahead, are so close I can taste these raindrops on my face

Shame’s audacity takes hold of my hands

and leads me down, eye to eye

Falling and screaming, jumbled up words running in a mouth so dirty

nothing seems right

yet it’s all the same
