Smile

Smile

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

A picture for all the ages..

"

Come on and flash that pretty smile

I want to take your picture

I want to make a memory that I can keep always

and look upon whenever I feel sad

or hopeless

Your smile could always do that

make me see the good things

When I was a fish out of water

you smiled

and I could breathe again

You told me I was beautiful, never let me feel alone

your face lit up when you smiled

but even in dark times, you never lost that light

I knew our many fights were finally over

when you smiled

I knew everything would be okay

when you smiled

I’ve never known anyone like you

and nowhere else have I seen that same smile

that’s why I must have it

to keep it forever

So come on and flash that pretty smile

I want to take your picture
