Fixation

Fixation

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

It's been a thousand years since then, yet I still love you..

"

She sits on her bed

feeling the beat of her heart

Tears fill the tissues

that form a moat around her

She’s never cried like this

His picture in her small hands

her favorite song on repeat

weeping her tears for him

A hole in her heart

feels like she’s dying; but she loves it

she doesn’t want any more

but she wants it all

Finally, she gets up and smiles

She loves him

I could not work out if this was about a breakup or a resistance to admit she is in love. But never-the-less I really enjoyed reading it as it was easy to relate to. Keep up the good writing :)
