hades on persephone

hades on persephone

A Poem by Will Graham
"

hades before he sweeps persephone away to the underworld

"
she looks like she smells of lilies.
she’s soft, and delicate;
pink at the edges.
her hair curls around her shoulders, and
the daisy chain around her scalp makes her look
so
so
soft.
i wonder what kind of garden she likes to grow.

there is a field, a field she loves to sleep in,
(a field of flowers that don’t match her coloring)
and i sometimes watch her from afar.
so soft.
so sweet.
she’s like my very own sun.
i want her to be mine.
mine in my domain,
my own form of sunshine and peace
within this darkness and shadow covered tomb.

i wonder what sort of garden she would like to grow.
