Symmetry In Nature

Symmetry In Nature

A Poem by William Lawrence

Mannequins posing
As the people
That we need,
Wrap the tourniquet
Tightly
As you sit and Bleed"
The question that lies
Is the question
That I wonder...
Do we all
See the beauty?
Do we all
Sit and ponder?
The beauty
So profound,
That's only found
In symmetry--
How can you all
Think it’s just
A prolonged vast mystery?
I sit here awaiting
The details
The call--
Till the wine runs dry
Till the skies shall fall.
