The edge of dizzy

The edge of dizzy

A Poem by willweb

There is so much to see

in this ever changing world

Blistering speeds form

elongated silhouettes

of life in all of its colors

Dark or light, faded or vibrant,

they are mingled in blurred definitions,

images concede defeat as time flies

And though I find myself on the edge of dizzy

I need not hold on to keep my balance

Because one thing keeps me level,

captures my focus, steadies my vision

and eliminates the maddening pace

that is all around me…and it is you

I can not take my eyes off of you

Note: If I knew how to attach music like some do, I would have attached “Can’t take my eyes off of you” by The Four Seasons, but I don’t know how so…I will just sing it for you.  :)

You’re just too good to be true

Can’t take my eyes off of you

You feel like heaven to touch

I want to hold you so much

At long last love has arrived

And I thank god I’m alive

You’re just too good to be true

Can’t take my eyes off of you

There are in depth instructions below from KL and John, but I never read the directions. :) Thanks .. read more
Ha another romatic pice which describes the way we feel slightly caught up in the modern pace of life but witrh a focus we can cope. Andy Williams and Sinatra did better versions of the song by the way.

(If you go on Youtube Music and search for a music video then right click and the click 'copy embedded code' and past into your poem in the box near the bottom that should do it.)

That is a cool poem. You have a great voice. Umm. I am sure I told you this before. Go to Youtube -- pick your song and right click -- there should be a little thing to copy the embed code. If you want you can set it to play automatically. I don't do that because sometimes that stalls out my netbook and I figure if it does that to me it may do that to others. As well, sometimes people don't want the music.

Sure you can. Than at least the audience will have something pretty to look at. :)
