Crimson

Crimson

A Poem by Amy Whetzell
"

lessons learned

"

A love so crimson

yet no life pumps through these veins

Your happiness is death

so my heart tears and sprains

 ~

Break me down

til I am no more

Guess what you heartless b***h

that's not me lying on the floor

 ~

A body so warm

yet a heart so cold

To think you could endlessly blind me

with your fool's gold

 ~

Tears may fall

but I do not cry

Because I understand having all the love

and still only wishing to die

 ~

You were right

in the statement you made

I don't need you, never did

And now I'm going away

 ~

I wanted you instead

though you refuse to see

All I wished for darlin`

was for you to love me

whoa, I'm feeling the pain, the whole ordeal. just what I experianced with a hard break-up. I saw myself as the person feeling rejected, beautiful piece, keep up the great writing.

is captivating, and the meaning is touching, you have talent, keep up the great work
