The Sun and His Moon

The Sun and His Moon

A Poem by FlatLineBeauty

It is said that there is no greater love than that of the Sun and Moon. Every evening the Sun fades and sets just so his beautiful Moon can breathe. The Moon whimpers silently as the twilight sets in. In the stillness of night the Moon yearns for her the warm rays of her Sun to caress her once again. The sun sets on the idea that he will rise again to see his gorgeous Moon. The twilight calm sends ripples across space and time making the Sun feel warmer than he ever could feel. The Moon Glistens in the night with their sparkling stars as they shimmer in the sky baring the testament to their undying love. She aches for her Sun to rise, for as he rises and she sets, is the brief moment they share the sky together. This feels like a lifetime worth waiting for. That is the power of love the two beings share.

Well portrayed. Always strange when you see them both together.
