Fall of despair

Fall of despair

A Poem by Winterwriter101

Fall of despair

The fall is closing in

The leaves are turning red

The birds are all leavin’

With the wings they all have spread.

Even though there is no reason

While the thoughts around us lay

To me this is not a colourful season

No matter what they say

And before I take my leave

From these emotions through a maze

I will no longer grieve

What now should have been my place

Just like a bird you decided to fly

U through yourself through land and sky

I tried to support you, tried to be brave.

But at the end of the day, all that’s left is a cold, empty grave.
