I know, but i've never met a true christian before. Which is kinda sad. but anyway, if things were different, I'd probably be a christian. Not saying that I think christianity is wrong or stupid, but its just not for me.maybe ill even incorporate some beliefs that I agree with into my practice. BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH. Just a little question, can I share this? this was AWESOME. You'll be a hero. LOL

This was SO beautiful. And not all of my christian family is like this, some ignore my religion, 1 person takes it as a joke, and one person harrasses and disrespects me on purpose, and there's many more, but they mostly ignore it. So thankyou, all Christians who are like this. You make the world a more beautiful place! :)

This is a beautiful post. :) I'm so glad your friend is one of the ones who really takes the loving side of the bible to heart- there are so many who would rather focus on hating people for some reason or another and use something from the bible as justification for that hate, it makes me so angry... But stories like this are the ones that give me hope that at least some of my fellow christians have the right idea in life! :)

Personally, I'm always so confused when people call themselves christian and then go around hating on people because they follow a different religion, or are atheist, or gay, or whatever. The christian bible tells us to live a christ-like life. We are taught to "Live, Love, and Lead like Jesus" and I genuinely don't see where hate falls into that.
Jesus didn't hate anyone.
He didn't even hate the pharisees and those morons deserved his spite! He didn't hate the people who eventually killed him, or the sinners he walked with, he didn't hate the people who continually tried to kill him throughout his life, he didn't even hate lucifer. Jesus. Did. Not. Hate. Anyone. So I can never figure out why so many people who claim to follow him think it's their job to judge and hate others who don't follow their beliefs... :/

I remember when I was a Christian. Yeah...big mistake on my part. I know many Christians that say one thing but turn around and judge someone else. It is why I do not like religion. It is like they turn their own words around.
