Mine

Mine

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

“Mine”
By Vincent J. Ganelli

With your half grin so fine,
How I wish you were mine.

Like flowering lupine,
You are lovely to behold.
I wish you were mine.

With the twinkling shine,
Of your eyes so bright,
I wish you were mine.

Like the finest wine,
You get better every day.
I wish you were mine.

Together I'd combine,
My heart and yours.
I wish you were mine.

Two Destinies intertwine,
Will you ever be mine?

A smile like a cresent moon and a sweet pea in bloom...a star twinkling high and a wine that is dry...two hearts now beat as one and two paths to the future become one set of footprints as you carry me off into the setting sun. A thought provoking poetic work, with lots of romantic meaning, in very short form.

Very beautiful romantic piece. Very sweetly written the rhyme and flow were excellent. Great piece.
