The Wolf Loves The Lamb

The Wolf Loves The Lamb

A Poem by Wolfie

Come back
You are my flashlight,
Wrap me in your arms
Guide me through this darkness,
For I cannot face it alone
My skin catches fire as we touch
Like a coursing river,
Happiness flows through my veins
Never have I wanted something so badly
The Wolf waits for the lamb to return
As the tornado draws near,
The Wolf cries lamb
But her cry was not heard
The Wolf was all alone,
Tears soaked her bloody fur
How beautifully tragic it is,
To fall in love with something that may never be.
