A Poem by Wolfie
"

Relapsing from my "High"

"
She climbed 100 stories high,
Leaving the ground behind her
When will she learn?
The higher she climbed the further she fell.

Sooner or later, she always lost her grip
For she grew tired of climbing
And her body was weak
As she began to fall,
She tried to prepare for impact,
She had never fallen this far before
But she knew her efforts were wasted,
As the ground grows inches closer
Bracing herself for impact, she was fearless
Hitting the dark pavement could be fatal,
This could be the end
And she didn't really mind

Author's Note

Wolfie
I'm starting to come down for my "happy high" and go back to my depression stage. I know that the happier my "happy stage" is, the lower my "depression stage" will be.

Life certainly can throw roller coasters at us at times and sometimes we are helpless to control it's path, speed and flow. But I like to think of those high speed descents as simply being what is necessary to hit the next rise in the tracks. =)

I like how symbolic this is, and how it has double meaning. Its sobering and sad and I really like it actually! It feels kinda unfinished at the end though but other than that gj :)

Thanks for the review! maybe I'll edit the end and make it more finished
