![]() Sea Of DreamsA Poem by Wolfwind![]() A misted swell upon the rise of a long nights tide A dream of lands seen, never touched, always calling A light, guiding, searching A beacon of salvation pulses Upon the chill of a damp morning breeze Where had the veiled thoughts taken us The tides came and went ever steady Memory, came once and was gone again in the thick fog The hour of reckoning striking a hearts fleeting beat Twice, thrice of a whispered love The sails so soon parting upon the main, full and crisp Carried the future's sampling of a past kiss Where had the warm wind been Of that direction needed by a blissful embrace Not yet nurtured beneath so few caresses Never to be known Never to be sown Upon the Sea of Dreams The waves ever lapping their memories
