A day a door

Open it, walk a little more

A way to adore

A few steps upon a shore

Do not fret, do not sigh

Joy is close and i’ll tell you why

Your friends are close, alongside you they fly

In that bright blue sky

They’ll hold you, even if you cry

You have some timing my friend. This little gem is just what I needed to read this morning. I've had a tough few days and this is such a brilliant way, to brighten up even the saddest of days. Has me pondering really what I can say, so I'll tell you in my simple style, if I may. Your mind floats along with love and grace, if only we could hitch a ride to discover such a place. This was a very nice poem and very much the thoughts that a friend would tell another. Very lovely indeed...timing is everything. Crazy!! :)

Friends can sure bring joy to us by simply being present. Sometimes a hug is the greatest comfort in the worst of times.
There's nothing like sharing joy and sorrow with friends, they help increase the first and decrease the later.

I loved this, the rhyming scheme just flowed beautifuly! My favorite line was " Open it, walk a little more, A way to adore, A few steps upon a shore." I loved it! I really could take a lot from those lines!!!
