Times can be hard
And we forget who we are

I admit I lied
And I'm different inside

I'm hard as rock
But thin as paper

As strong as a buffalo
But fragile as glass

Brave like a soldier
But soft as a pillow

Sometimes I feel lost
But life comes with a cost

I've found myself
And taken my heart of the shelf

The past is behind me
And now I can see
The person I can be
