All American Family

All American Family

A Poem by
"

If you think your family is falling apart, read this and judge. It's a reminder that not everything is as it seems, adn that, while we get mad at family, we do not truly loathe them.

All American Family

Father, Father how’s your life,

Father, Father how’s your wife,

Mother, Mother how’s it going,

Mother, Mother your bruises are showing,

Sister, Sister I hate you bad,

Sisters, Sister are you mad,

Brother, Brother put your needles down

Brother, Brother you don’t run this town

Father, Father it’s a name you haven’t earned

Father, Father remember the house you burned

Mother, Mother are you falling apart

Mother, Mother you’ve lost your heart

Sister, Sister he took you alone

Sister, Sister home is not home

Brother, Brother I wish you the best

Brother, Brother there’s a hole in your chest

Father, Father you’re a mean man

Father, Father there’re ghosts in your van

Mother, Mother This life’s so cruel

Mother, Mother you were such a fool

Sister, Sister he loved you more

Sister, Sister he closed your door

Brother, Brother make your drugs last

Brother, Brother you’re going to crash
