~ The Green Nymph of the North Sea

Shimmer in this deep dark waves

Made her hazy vision clear

If small pearly reflections

Turned her way, like tiny suns

Could shine on dark gray days

There was no other light

Just as the light in her self

Which kept her moving

She lived for more than four hundred

Centuries long deep under the Sea

Still there was never one shipper

Or sailor who had found her

Her fate was written in her being

Like others wished her bad, but

As strong as she was, she always smiled

Some days she saw other mortals die

As she wondered when it was her time

She knew she was special cursed

Her long hair was in the meantime gray,

But still she had a beautiful young face

And eyes so sharp, she wasn’t blind

In the days were she was still mortal

She was an beautiful princess taken by

The Dunkirkers who raped her, and

Where her pregnant healthy body after

They poisoned her and her unborn child

Was dumped in the mystical North Sea

But she is still awake in the dark and forgotten

Seabed, where she waits, until the moment

Presents itself, and were she and others victims

Shall dance among the revengeful souls and

Whispering their immortality in their lungs

So she and her unborn child will be reborn

To be continued...

Dreamy and melancholy... Yet this beautiful nymph who's life was spoilt by evil deeds maintains a smile as she waits patiently for her destiny to unfold.

It's very exciting to see you writing
Stories Elisa... And I noticed below that this one will continue. I await the continuation of your tale and very curious if you will continue in this lovely poetic style and this nymphs fate...

A sad tale with many good and bad elements of human behavior. I love that her light is one from inside her; her own light guides her despite her tragedies. And there is hope...always hope.

amazing dark story, melancholic, but so poetic and vivid picture of nymph...I loved the hope and the sun in the end, as she is waiting to be reborn, she is waiting for her victory in the end...and until then she will be so free roaming in this cold north sea...
sad and true, created with beautiful outlines-verses, dear Eli!

An interesting story of hatred and vengeance which the character carries even into immortality. This is going to be an exciting read for sure because of its poetic form and I look forward to reading more of it. I admire your boundless creativity my dear:)

Thank you sweety! :) can't wait to have more spare time for your art...
Where to start...
The music took me by surprise ! I was about to shut it off, then I realized, HEY, if this is how you want me to experience this piece, then so be it. I absolutely adore this. ( Music and writing )
It flows through like a gentle creek, lower and lower, hair in the wind with a gentle breeze. The imagery was powerful for me, and that first line ''deep dark waves''. God I love alliteration, it is so refreshing.
I will definitely be looking for more, thank you for this.
Cheers.

Thank you so very much for this nice review.... So appreciated!!
A tale of enchantment with all the right elements. It is true to all the traditions and yet we the readers can see the element of truth and history that underlies all these tragic tales.
You have a skill for these kind of tales and the ethereal quality you give this one flows with the ebb of the sea.

So enchanting a tale you have woven here Dear Elisa. I felt as if I were afloat upon an endless sea watching, waiting, praying for her soul and her time, when once again she will dance. I look forward to the continuation of this fine poetic tale.
