Each page filled with gossamer cotton layers~

Hand-bound with precious care

The smell of history,  woven in magic,

The calligraphic beauty of every word

 

The narrators soul alive,

Dancing with time jumps

Almost trial pleasing illusions

That come alive~

 

Ages breathe through young lungs

Felt in the most sensible way,

Just how you live through me

I keep growing each day~

 

Pain, love and treasures,

I find on the journey

Of reading a book~

It will forever live through me

The way I gave it a look

Wow, Elisa my friend!! Amazing, fantastical work as always. I'm getting a much better sense of the story you're weaving together now. I haven't read all the "~" poems, as you call them, but when I have the time, I'd love to.

I honestly think you're an amazing fantasy writer, and would love to see a whole book of Elysion poems, or something like that. But then again, that would mean you'd have to make it public (I assume). And then you're thrown to the wolves, aren't you?? It's tough to share our inner worlds with the reading public, because not all of them will understand.

Eric, I can't thank you enough tonight, Thank you for being a friend, by being a friend. ;-) Sigh, it's not in my nature, to promote myself, Eric. Dear Elisa, I find it hard to chose the words that accurately describe the feeling of absolute comfort and peace I felt while reading thia poem. You words are that of a book which captivates the mind and the senses, like a calm breeze turned each page as I read. The history so enchanting and calling out to me was that of a voice most beautiful. This piece is exquisite.

Aw, thankies dear friend, I'm a bookworm... I can't help it lol... Books are treasures of living creatures, in immortality... for me they breath love, sorrow, life, in it's purest forms.... what would we do without book? I can't imagine.... thank you so much friend.

I can't describe this..
You went from desciribg a book, to talking about love. Two whole different things!
But they both have a connection to each other, one way or another.
The last stanza... My favorite.
All of your poems, everyone's poems, all have a secret, hidden, message.
The beauty of poetry is so beautiful.
