~ She and her Hymn

As she walked with her baggage

In the land of silence

Thinking, freely in heathers hue

Merged as in many continents

Different depths and temperatures

Hardened feet, frozen legs

Her thoughts of the purest vision

Became ice with freedoms voice

She hiked along the fields

With her thoughts reaching snowy

Mountains in the far away

Landscapes almost bygone

By power of changing nature

Simplicity and tranquility

Rusted in the time of the year

She shall move on, within

The inevitable

Giving up will weaken her strength

As she follows her hearts hymn

To achieve those silver streams

In seasons of mercy, by walking

Sort of reminds me of a girl just trying to find her way in life or maybe trying to flee from something. I confuse myself a lot lately, but anyway this was remarkable writing. Actually it makes me think the girl is looking for peace. I am really trying to spit out what I mean but I am just rambling. ^^*

Thank you for your time, and your review. :)
To continue to walk during hardened times to get to the "silver streams" of life, is inspiring...It is such a gratifying journey. You have written a piece that encourages the reader to follow the heart, to move on and forge through that which makes us weak...A Lovely write Eli!

love this one so much, Ellie.
i like the different natural images you have drawn in your poem..i like the comparison you have made amongst them..i felt i am taking a tour around the world from a landform to another, once i felt im on a mountain peak with all the ice and snow it is covered with, and suddenly down to the depth of a valley passing through dry deserts. it was a really enjoying tour..

Elisa, what I appreciate most about your work is that you take words into strange lands where they have never been used before and you give them life and new meanings. You use them in new forms as if they had characters of their own, never discovered until now. I delight in readying your work and thank you for giving it to us.

I continue to read your poetry because your work really speaks to me. There is no way for me to critique your writings; it is from the soul and the soul knows only love. Beautiful.
