~ The Blurred Painter

You painted me on your cotton canvas

The night with no limits left,

The day not yet in sight at all

But my heart beat born, an Ecoline gal

No light could ever bring me,

So much closer to this inner you,

For a moment, I lived on there for real

And you never had the clue!

Until you made me sad, and

Disappointed drained me in a different color,

There were no eyes who’d smiled,

But thunder storms became bolder.

You created me, and punished me

For I once was just so happy;

Your paintbrush, loved so many colors,

But your heart was too heavy

To provide, and too heavy to love.

I too often find myself "mud mixing" because of my lack of skill and patience. I love all the colours and try to hard to put them all on the canvas at once, knowing full well what happens when you mix too many colours. Absolutely brilliant painting on canvas and on the net as you have done here in words.

Love has many faces. It is a familiar but strange that throughout centuries there has been several distinct discussions on the matter of love's meaning and what can be comprised as an element of such. Aside from it's emotional aspect, I find this poem also logical. Great write, dearest!

As always birthday girl:)
Disappointment came as the painting was completed. The wonder of love and the loss of it seemed inevitable. True romantic poetry.
And happy birthday Elisa.

Thank you dearly my sweet friend for all...
Very beautiful and filled with thewonderful colors of love until those colors seem to fade and along with them. love itself. I love this my friend, I loved the feel and the flow of this poem. The sadness in the end is still as beautiful as it is sad. very nice Elisa.
