~ I know we love Green E.L. Elisa Laura, the state of being total off the world, of feeling love, and being sick... of love, sick and tired of being sick and tired....

"

~ I know we love Green

Through my window pane, this morning,

I saw a little bird resting on the

Branch of my giant

Oak Tree in front of my house;

It must have been you, resting

From a long trip, gasping for some air,

Talking to the morning magpies,

And reaching for me as my day clock

Has passed for days, into nightly slumbers;

Half fuzzy I wake, and see you there,

Reaching me, but my head is too numb;

Too tired, of all I’ve been through,

I can’t even turn from right to left,

So I speak to you in my dreams…

Following out of sight, flitting in at the edges of perception, the Cheshire cat disappearing among the trees and materialising when the chaos plaguing Alice is most thick. Is that Fate I see in the distance? Or is it the echoes of the past come back to visit?
Such a personal and poignant poem, Elisa. Incredible. :) xx

This is so sad. It is hard to express that kind of loss and pain felt deep inside. The wanting to hold that person close again; feeling physically ill from hurt. Then at the same time frustrated that you feel that way. The music goes very well with this piece. The details are amazing. You can picture this woman standing weak tear streaked face staring out the world that doesn't matter.

Magically dreamy and melancholy.....the longing for someone important to you is intense in this one. The imagery is superb. The song you chose to accompany your words is haunting. An absolutely wonderful package here. I read it several times to drink in all the nuances between the lines. Knuffels, Lydi**

Sublime, calming and yet so gripping. Like a breath of fresh air... this poem tells of beauty of days passed by. Beautiful picture, words and music. A complete Elisa presentation. If I ever did take a poetry/literature writing class I'd like to learn from somewhere like you, who can provide inspiration, invoke creation and just add a touch of magic, i'm pretty sure it can't be taught but if it could you'd definitely be the teacher i'd want.

What a lovely interpretation you've made, Elisa...to write with such bounty of devotion, and have it read with all the loftiness of a dream!

I'm sending hugs...be well, my dear friend! (((((((((( Elisa ))))))))))
What you have beautifully described here is an event that happens all the time whereby our dreams merge with visions of those things which are calling us to awaken such as a song bird outside of our bedroom window.

A rich blend of ideal beauty and resigned reality...you've had to wade between these two states all too often dear sis...every time I read one of poems of yours, I instinctively wonder what you're up to at the moment and hoping you're alright...a profoundly personal and reflective piece...well done my dear, love and hugs as always :) xoxo

Very lovely, Elisa. The tranfiguration of the lover to dream bird and back again is very moving - I felt her longng for connection but unable to see him clearly except in a dream. Loved the poem and the graphic.
