~ The Three Gates

~ The Three Gates

A Poem by
"

It seems--that; "Love conquers all"

~ The Three Gates

He traveled along the three gates of hope,

His mind was strong, his unconscious reached

It wasn't day or night, there was only space

When he made his decision and entered

For him she was different, just one of a kind,

The lost hope he'd must rather find

Her long brown hair, her deep intense look,

The pages, of her body language,

He could read like a book

She was an Ingénue, of beauty

Mysterious, her so sensitive heart,

She could celebrate the rain,

In her beautiful mood swings

Out of love, out of pain...

As her mind could sing the words

Like a thousand synapses felt;

She'd reached the right chords

And truthful, so strong down the hill

Her name was spelled

For her "love", felt just that deep,

It has to be cherished, honest, and

Like the thorns of a red Rose

This time she was gone, far away;

To another realm out of reach

But not lost in his dream, of truth

When he'd choose the right gate of hope,

She sang soft songs, for him to find

And no evil could poison her light;

Where love, in the gate of hope, did collide

From the beginning till the end, so enchanting poem-story...The gates of hope are something everyone needs to enter, and make decision. Once he enters there is no way back. And he will always search for his perfect love! Your poem speaks the message of gentleness, care and love..and the end sound so strong!

When he'd choose the right gate of hope,
She sang soft songs, for him to find
And no evil could poison her light;
Where love, in the gate of hope, did collide

A rather romantic piece I must say. We often forget, that there is always hope, Even when it seems to have gone, It is there. Hope never fades, never dies. You remind us of that in this piece. Your romance lifts us off the page and transports us into that place of hope. Just incredable

This was amazing, Lis'. This 'story' is one I feel, and surely think of, though this need not be today. I foresee, I feel, and think, and all sorts of other means--a more sound way.
