Electrify

Everything around me gives me shivers
It's like I'm walking through a tsunami of energy
I shove my fist through the ever-changing walls
To prove my existence, and power shoots through me.

Waves of excitement seep through my veins
I take in the scene, stricken by it's beauty
My temperature rises, blood pounding in my head
Smiling like a maniac, oh wait...
I'm already epically insane.

Sprinting elegantly, I try to erase the memories
Of a distant past, and haunting events
Every lesson learned creating a new fear
But you, my friend,
Are nothing but a stain on my denim jeans.

Creating an image, I swipe my hands against the wind
Immediately it curls, breaking off from it's original path
Repeating, I start to create a sea of scattered waves
And involuntarily grin at my newest craft.

Leaving it to heal, I fly towards the source of my strength
Hungry for more, I reach for it's orb
Only to be taken back by it's titanium kick
Quivering, I snatch it quickly this time
Gulping as the new element swims through my throat
Singing a song of tremendous values
Filled with a precious sound, and I start to choke
Nothing has entered me being so profound.
