Don't Want To Hear It

Don't Want To Hear It

A Poem by Krista Harris

We were stranded

on a  leaky boat in the middle of the sea

But for a moment, I was at peace

No one was around to tell me anything

I didn't want to hear

No one except for

HIM

Still, I knew even he wouldn't be so horrible as to point out the irony

I WAS WRONG

With a delirious smirk on his face,

He said, "Wow! Water! Water everywhere, but not a drop to drink!"

I threw him overboard

'cause no one needs that!

Thanks for your review earlier :) And I have to say, this poem made me burst into laughter. You don't find many humorous poems, much less any GOOD ones. Loved this :)

How in the world do I write you
a review without being tossed
over-board ?
I`ll take a chance. I`ll just smile and
not say a word. The writer is sure
to appreciate me for not being a nerd.

Love your humor, love your stuff
Try and try i can`t get enough.
