Dyslexia (Which turns into Wonderland)

Dyslexia (Which turns into Wonderland)

A Poem by WritersBlock21

Words are a funny thing.

With dyslexia it becomes a game.

Read could turn into Dear.

Source into course and so on.

I know most people don't enjoy their reading problem but I do.

I see the world in a different setting.

Or tea set, which is what setting turns into.

It's my personal Wonderland,

Where nothing is as it seems.

Which turns into steam.

My Wonderland is a beautiful place,

filled with made up words and phrases.

Nothing has the same definition,

Which sometimes is intention.

I hope you have the intention of seeing what I can,

Someday.

An absolutely wonderful poem! Being able to find the positive in a area of life that would normally drag people down is a fantastic trait to have. This piece shines with the creativity of personal passion and positivity. It's the type of piece that brings a smile, delivers an envelope of hope and encourages others who may be troubled with differences to turn that trouble around and make happiness double.

Great Ink! Thanks for sharing!

N...made me smile. Thank you.

Also made me remember an old joke...the story of the anxious dyslexic agnostic with insomnia who used to lie awake at night worrying if there really was a dog.

Keep at it...bobc
