No Words

No Words

A Poem by WritersBlock21

Sometimes there are no words.
No words to piece together something sad.
Nothing that can make it better
Like a big hug from your dad
Or you and your mom laughing after a fight,
Not even nana's mac and cheese can fix this because she's gone.
She's gone and I'm happy.
I'm happy she's not hurting anymore.
She's not sick now because she is no more.
There is a young woman,
Welcoming her to Somewhere.
I have to imagine we go Somewhere.
If I didn't I wouldn't know what to think.
So I'm happy she's not hurting anymore,
And she's with someone we all love and miss as much as her.
Sometimes there are no words
Because sometimes the words you're thinking of
Are too personal to speak aloud.
